How to find the sun's elevation in other cities
The Global Monitoring Laboratory of NOAA offers a way to find the angle of the sun anywhere in the world.
It is called the NOAA Solar Calculator. To use it, click on the image below. Once on the NOAA site, select your Time Zone and Date (Day, Month and Year).
The results will be calculated automatically and immediately. Look to the far right in the Result box.
That is the number of the degrees of elevation of the sun for that location and date.
